Qualification & Professional Background:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 16 years of education or an MBA in Marketing, or an equivalent qualification, coupled with a preference for at least 5 years of experience in a reputable organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Director of Admissions, the incumbent will report to the relevant authorities – DI/DC/DAcad-CU (as applicable) – and will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Director of Admissions at BUHO on all matters related to admissions.
- Develop forecasts and schedules for the intakes of various academic programs.
- Prepare and disseminate advertisements in leading newspapers.
- Process admission applications and issue test/interview invitations to eligible candidates.
- Ensure the timely registration of students.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive personal files for students.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by the DC/DI/DAcad-CU.
Front-Facing Role:
As the primary interface for new students and parents at BU, the Assistant Director of Admissions is expected to perform the following tasks, both on-campus and across BSEAS’s digital/social media platforms:
- Engage with parents and guardians, providing insightful information about the strengths of BSEAS programs.
- Communicate BU’s academic policies effectively and responsibly.
- Offer valuable feedback to the Directorate of Marketing, Media House, and relevant departments regarding the expectations of students and parents for various programs.
- Proactively collaborate on the development of Admission campaigns with respective departments.
- Stay updated on the strategies, achievements, and shortcomings of competitors in the field.
- Regularly update, post, and follow-up on social and digital media campaigns.
