Your Role:

As a core member of our Product team, you’ll collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate our roadmap and requirements into compelling user experiences and designs. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving end-user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive UX/UI designs that support our vision of scalable, user-friendly performance management software.
  • Partner with product managers to transform product roadmaps into intuitive experiences and designs.
  • Work in agile scrum teams to bring design concepts to life, developing wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specs in Figma, including CSS specifications.
  • Enhance and maintain the PerformYard UI design system.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of UI design experience on a commercial SaaS product.
  • A portfolio showcasing your breadth and depth in UI design.
  • Strong visual design skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for user-centricity.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, from conceptualizing high-level systems to crafting technical design specifications.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience with agile/scrum product teams.
  • A BA in graphic design, human factors, or UI design (preferred).
  • Prior experience working on a team of UI/UX designers (bonus).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience designing for React-based web applications.
  • Design experience with HRIS or Employee Management applications.
  • Front-end web development experience (Javascript, HTML, React).
  • Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA).
